Remappable, but these are the defaults that videos use

Doloc Town Controls

Doloc Town keyboard and mouse controls for movement, drone fire, auto-fire toggle, fishing, and tech tree.

Updated August 2026

Movement is WASD or arrows with jumps and climbs. E inspects and interacts. T opens the tech tree. Tools swing on click. The drone uses left click to fire and right click to lock in the common 1.0 layout. Space dodges. R or middle mouse toggles auto-fire. Fishing is hold to charge, press to lift, then follow the meter: hold green, release red, tap gold.

Settings include fishing minigame assistance and drone auto-aim. Auto-aim is not auto-fire. You can have aim help and still choose every shot. Key remap exists at a basic level. This page lists the defaults videos use; if a bind clashes with your mouse, change it in the game menu.

Farm binds worth learning

E on crops. Sickle on a hotbar. Pickaxe for mailbox and pad. Toolbox for buildings. Launch on the cargo pad is an interact, not a hotkey — look at the pad. People lose hours to that.

Remap, text size, and fishing assist

Remapping and text size exist, but they are not deep. Fishing has a difficulty slider in settings. There is no full narrator. If you need hold-to-fail-safe fishing, turn the assist up before you hunt Sturgeon.

Combat binds versus farm binds

Left click fires the drone. Right click locks in the common 1.0 layout. Space dodges on a 1.2 second cooldown. Invincibility after a hit is 500 ms. Crits deal double. R or middle mouse toggles auto-fire — that is the setting that starts wars with peaceful slime. Auto-aim in settings leans shots toward the cursor; it is not a turret and it is not auto-fire. You can have help and still choose every shot. Combat is hold fire in a new room. How to beat covers the fight. Drone loadout stacks battery. Tools spend the 320 energy bar. The drone spends battery.

E inspects water, mulch, compost, and weather stress on a crop before you assume it is only slow. T opens the tech tree — Agricultural Basics before furniture. Pickaxe moves mailbox and cargo pad. Toolbox moves buildings. Launch on the pad is an interact, not a hotkey. People lose hours to that. How to play is the 6:00 wake. Farm build is the factory. How to redeem is the booth keypad for 12311, 24141, and 35321 — on-screen digits, no secret D-pad code.

Controller, map, and what videos skip

Steam Input may work. Creator videos are keyboard-mouse. The store lists Windows. Sprint is the upgraded jetpack, not minute zero. Double jump is the guild pack for Rivervalley. Map key lives in settings; dual detail modes exist. Map names the stalls; there is no world-map item to craft. Hidden rooms the map never marks will not ping — How to find is the walk-in rule.

Fishing: hold to charge, press to lift, hold green, release red, tap gold. Perfect-cast window is 0.1. Energy is 10 per cast. Fishing planner sets tonight’s weather. There is no public Trello for a “controls patch.” Remap in the game menu; this page only records the defaults. Sibling page: the review hub for who 1.0 is for.
