The first real dungeon

Doloc Rivervalley

Rivervalley exploration: Chameleon Bugs, Seed Carrier, hidden shortcuts, and the first drone biome in Doloc Town 1.0.

Updated August 2026

Rivervalley is why the game taught you a jetpack and a Worn-Out Drone. The guild wants five Chameleon Bugs. Cal hands you a Simple Launcher. Practice at the Range. The valley is a side-scrolling dungeon with Chameleon Bugs, Buzzbugs, Bionic Bees, Tardigrade 2007, Type-33, Chompers, and a Seed Carrier at 200 HP that actually drops starter seeds. Hidden shortcuts, unmarked cuts, and a giant tree hide sit in the valley. Ridge Valley is a separate place for bees and fungus, not another name for this dungeon. Bring manual fire, a lighting plan, and an empty backpack.

Why you go, and what you carry out

Guild bug quota, Type-33 parts, Carrier seeds, copper and coal, story rumors about a lab. The Seed Carrier room is loud. Loot alcoves are not. Hug walls. Drop through one-way platforms. Secrets lists cave shortcuts, crossroad hide, upper passage, stagecoach cuts, outpost under/over, Okoma mission room. Several never ping on the map. Walk in anyway.

Jetpack double jump is the guild ability for this dungeon. Sprint is the upgraded pack, not minute zero. You can sneak some rooms. The guild hunt is not skippable if you want that unlock. Combat tools have attack values; the drone is still the ranged weapon. Pickaxe the nodes. Do not swing at bugs while flying.

Doloc Town — Doloc Rivervalley

Ridge Valley, hides, and when to leave

Ridge Valley is a separate map. Bees and fungus are why you visit. Do not assume one checklist covers both valleys. Where to farm splits hunting spots from mining spots. This page covers the route. Hidden cave required? No, but it saves walking. Bracelet optional until Old City starts naming empty lots; still useful if you hate backtracking.

Leave when slots are full or the drone cannot finish a room. Fainting costs 60 percent. Treaty Port does not spend time. Night in the valley burns the clock and your energy. Walkthrough places this biome before Wetland because Acidic Chameleon Bugs and Bombers are a different fight. Do not skip the order because the map let you wander.
