Each gene is a plant trait. The table sits first. Gene planner is the weighted seed table. Official descriptions stay in the rows.

How to read this table
Twenty-two traits. Official descriptions and whether the gene starts unlocked. A crop holds three genes. Hope is the trait compression keeps — do not squeeze a line you cannot replace. Keratinized ignores acid rain and pays a yield tax; Endyam rolls it at 0.45. Needle-leaf is the dry-season version. Seedless is a trap. Locked high-skill genes such as Parasite stay unranked on the early gene tier list.
This catalog lists the trait. The planner shows which seeds can roll it. Farming is the basin and season rule. Protect is why outdoor Light Rain still wants Keratinized when acid deals 0.45. Crops lists top weights on each seed. Do not triple-stack protect and call the cabbage finished. Rain bed: Keratinized + Hope + Fractal. Dry bed: Needle-leaf + Fertility + Hope. Shrub: Gift of Time + Hope + Fractal.
When the crop list and this list disagree
Pumpkin can be crop-S and still want Keratinized to remain pumpkin-S outdoors. Endyam is crop-S partly because Keratinized is S here. Agave’s 1,000 gold does not make Seedless useful. Thundergrass being crop-D does not make a rare gene on it S. Rank the trait, then pick the seed. Animals still eat ground crops regardless of genes. A Fractal pumpkin on the floor is still a pheasant snack. Farm build is not a gene and still beats your S stack if you skip fences.
Capsules come from extractors after Gene 101, Cloning, Gene Editing, and Genetics — How to get covers unlocks. Capsules are just the tool. Rank the trait. Firefly is looks and utility. Charge is a lightning toy. Bonsai is space on a vertical cliff. Even Rain is situational S once you understand sprinkler genes. Tech path walks the agricultural line.
Frequently asked questions
What gene should I start with?
Keratinized for rain, Hope for seed returns, Fractal if the plant already multi-drops.
Can I stack three Keratinized?
You have three slots. Stacking the same trait is usually a waste. Mix protect + yield.
What is Hope?
The trait compression keeps. Do not squeeze a line you cannot replace.
Does Keratinized protect the player?
No. It is a crop gene. Player protection is platforms, timing, and bracelets whose text mentions acid or radiation.
Where do capsules drop?
Extract from plants that rolled the trait after Gene Editing. The planner shows which seeds even can.
Endyam Keratinized weight?
0.45. That is why outdoor Light Rain ranks Endyam first. The planner shows which seeds can roll it.
All twenty-two traits written out here?
No. Official descriptions stay in the rows.
Does Hope protect against acid?
No. Hope survives compression. Keratinized ignores acid and pays a yield tax.
